Taking care of your skin, especially after a long day of makeup on your face, and all the germs in the air...is SO important. As soon as I know I'm home for the rest of the day/night, I immediately take off my makeup, I love the feeling of a clean fresh face, and giving it that break to breathe! So below I will share the details of my night time skin care routine, along with an ALL natural beauty secret using only natural ingredients you can find in your fridge & pantry! It helps to clear skin from acne, blemishes, and uneven skin tone! And the best part is that its all natural, i love that feeling! I'm all about all natural products, especially since becoming a mother! I plan to share all of my all natural remedies that I do now, and start in the future! I hope you'll enjoy my post and please feel free to comment below with any questions!
Details about products:
Baby Wipes: A lot of people buy the wipes specifically for removing makeup, but in my personal opinion baby wipes and makeup remover wipes are and do the exact same thing. Considering I have an endless amount for my daughter, they are used for removing my makeup as well!
Purity 3 in 1 Face Cleanser-I love this product, its a gel base which I love for facial cleansers, its a deep clean and gets the job done. I've been using it for a long time. I bought it at sephora!
Coconut Oil: Where do I even begin with this product! First of all if you don't have it already you need to get it asap! It can be used for cooking, your skin your hair, you name it! I use this product as a moisturizer for my face, and body, for my daughters bum when she has diaper rash and also for her Eczema, as a cooking oil. I want to start using it for MANY other things as well. Below I will post a couple charts I found on pinterest showing the many different ways you can use Coconut Oil. I'll post a few different pictures just to make sure I've covered all grounds! Also go to www.coconut-oil-tips.com to read about more of the benefits of using coconut oil.
Elizabeth Grant Miracle Face Mask: I actually came across this product at Winners when looking for a new face mask to try, I ended up liking it because it was just a light mask, and wasn't anything major or too thick. It's not a natural product, but I like giving myself a face mask at least once a week. I wouldn't recommend this product if you prefer a thicker, more intense face mask. I'm going to start researching and experimenting all natural at home face masks to try! Will post when I do!
Josie Maran Argan Oil- I LOVE this product, its also versatile and can be used for your face, hair, skin and nail cuticles! I use it for all of those things, and love it before I go to bed and when I wake up, it gives me a beautiful glow and makes my skin so soft. Argan Oil is also a natural product and has many wonderful benefits as well!
Tip: To keep your skin healthy drink LOTS OF WATER!

Wondering why these 4 natural products work wonders for your skin?! Find out below...
Who knew that 4 things you can find in your fridge and pantry would be one of the best remedies for acne, blemishes, uneven skin tone, acne scarring and dead skin cells. The media gets us all hyped up about all these fancy expensive skin care products that sound and look so amazing, but the truth is, a lot of them don't even work, and they use a lot of fancy words (even fake words) to sell themselves and make us all believe they do work! I use to believe all of that, but now...I'm not buyin it! As I said before, since becoming a mother, I want to give my child the best and most safe products possible, whether it be for her skin, or what she eats! And the same now goes for me! It's gotten me more involved and interested in the all natural world, and I think everyone should give it a chance too! I could go on and on about that, but instead...try this remedy out and see for yourself! Below I will list the step by step ingredients and directions to do the "Lemon & Sugar Body/Face Scrub"
P.S I do this scrub twice a week at night

Instructions:
Add lemon juice and olive oil in to a bowl (I like to use tupperware as it is easy storage) until they mix together. Add the honey and wisk or stir quickly until the ingredients bind together into a medium thick consistency. You can add or subtract the amount of olive oil and honey that you use depending on how thick you want your scrub to be. I would keep the lemon to the juice of one half of a freshly cut lemon for every 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. Add in the sugar and mix. If you sense that there is not enough sugar to get the scrubbing done, add a bit more. Again, this is a personal preference.

As a body scrub: Apply to body, paying extra close attention to elbows, knees, feet and hands (nails and cuticles especially) and rub in circular motions for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse. Enjoy the silky softness of your impossibly smooth skin.
As a face scrub: The lemon and sugar scrub is also great for the face, but use with gentle circular motions. This scrub is ideal for people who suffer from breakouts and acne as all of the ingredients are highly beneficial to acne prone skin. Lemon tightens pores and evens out the skin tone, sugar removes dead skin cells and cleans pores, olive oil heals acne scaring, and honey prevents future breakouts.
To use, follow the same recipe instructions then apply to clean face in gentle, circular motions. Be cautious of using on open wounds as the lemon may sting. Leave on for 7-10 minutes and rinse with cool water.
There are several ways to make a lemon and sugar scrub but I have found this one to be the easiest and most effective.
I hope you'll try it and I'd love to hear how it works out for you!
Goodnight everyone!
xx
